David Foyt, MD
Dr. David Foyt received his Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia College in Manhattan, NY and attended medical school at The Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. He completed his residency in general Ear, Nose and Throat surgery in 1994 at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. Dr. David Foyt completed his fellowship training in Otology and Neurotology and skull base surgery at the world famous House Ear Institute in Los Angeles, California.
Dr. David Foyt has been in practice in Albany, New York since 1996 specializing in the treatment of hearing loss, facial nerve disorders, balance and dizziness disorders and cochlear implantation. Dr. Foyt is the only physician in New York’s Capital Region who is subspecialty board certified in the treatment of ear disorders. The Capital Region Ear Institute (CREI) of New York is a designated “Center of Excellence” for implantable hearing technology and is one of the largest and most comprehensive facilities of its kind on the U.S. East Coast.
Dr. David Foyt offers specialized adult and pediatric neurotological care to all of New York’s Capital Region, Bennington County, VT and the Berkshires of MA for diagnosis and treatment of: chronic ear infections, hearing disorders (including otosclerosis), sudden single-sided deafness, tinnitus, ear drum perforation, middle ear disease (including cholesteatoma), and vestibular and balance disorders (including vertigo, dizziness, Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo, and Meniere’s disease). Dr. David Foyt also runs a multidisciplinary subspecialty clinic for acoustic neuroma and skull base tumors.
