Jack Pickering PhD, CCC-SLP
Dr. Jack Pickering is a speech language pathologist. Since completing his program of study at Ohio University in 1990, Dr. Jack Pickering has been a college professor at the University of Kentucky and The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York focusing on voice, speech science, and the application of technology in communication sciences and disorders. Dr. Jack Pickering has served as Department Chair for the Communication Disorders Department (1999-2004) and Interim Dean of the School of Education (2005-2006) at College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. Dr. Jack Pickering served as President-Elect of the New York State Speech-Language-Hearing Association from 2004-2998.
Dr. Jack Pickering offers on-site care for adult and pediatric patients from all of New York’s Capital Region, Bennington County, VT and the Berkshires of MA whose speaking voice is affected by an ear, nose and throat disease or disease including oral and throat cancers, vocal cord dysfunction and paralysis and hoarseness, swallowing dysfunction, recurrent or chronic laryngitis, spasmodic dysphonia, vocal polyps, nodules.
Dr. Jack Pickering also specializes in the care of the professional voice for patients from all of New York’s Capital Region, Bennington County, VT and the Berkshires of MA, treating accomplished singers, singers-in-training, amateur singers, actors and other performers, teachers, lawyers, ministers, and other professionals who rely upon their voice to perform their job.
